KSUN is Victorious! [Post 13]
It all started with a goal to put KSUN on the map once and for
all. Anthony Marefat, our General Manager, initiated Operation
Eternal Glory: This was an operation to achieve one thing and
that's Eternal Glory of course, duh. It took Days of preparation
to win SSU's first Homecoming Cup ever. It took every soul of
KSUN to do it. We spent countless sweaty hours in the
basement planning our total domination of the contest. The
First day was the Soccer Game and we gathered our
equipment to put on a LIVE show from Juniper lane on
campus, and it was a hit! We had to battle some groups to
achieve victory, but they were all slaughterd at the end. The
second day was filled with controversy as the Quater wars
began and the Watermelon contest right around the corner.
The Quater War was of course being dominated by KSUN-
-Donation after donation given by the DJ's and Loyal listeners
to a good cause, brought a smile to the judges face. Thus the
Watermelon contest was off and our representive, Elias, ate
fast and steady. It was neck and neck but A Phi Delta Theta
contestant ended up winning but we have video proof that
Elias's tray was the cleanest and should've been the winner!
Day 3 and 4 was cancelled due to rain, but the Scavenger
hunt was still on. All we had was one day to get all the things
on the list, and with great determination all of KSUN came
together and got every single item, inculding the hardest item:
a 1960 penny (year SSU was founded) found by the DJ Katie
K. We easily won, while our competition, TKE, didn't quite get
everything. Midnight madness was that same night and KSUN
was ready to party if we won, or riot if we lost..."And the winner
is.." KSUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!! it was an amazing
accomplishment. The first club to ever with the Homecoming
cup! It truly was a magnificant week. Eternal Glory is ours to
keep forever! KSUN is no longer "pretty good", it's "really
good!" click here for pictures/videos.
